Product Description:
The Baric Tablet consists of a wooden box with three compartments, each containing a set of two
wooden tablets. Each set of tablets is made from a different type of wood, with each type having a
different density, resulting in a distinct difference in weight. The sets are graded from light to heavy
and also differ in colour to help the child visually distinguish between the various types of wood.
There are three types of wood used, each representing a different level of density, and the tablets
are designed to be easily handled by small hands. The box is neatly designed for storing the tablets,
making it convenient for the child to explore independently.
Baric Tablet's
The Baric Tablet material is designed to help children develop an awareness of weight
and density through the tactile exploration of wooden tablets that vary in weight but are the same
in size. This material stimulates the child’s sense of touch and encourages the development of
muscular control and fine motor skills, which are crucial for later activities such as writing. By
handling the tablets, children begin to understand the concepts of heavier and lighter, providing a
foundation for early mathematical concepts like weight comparison and measurement.
